Here at Chapel Green School we promote learning for all who come through our doors. We encourage all our pupils and staff to be the best they can be, achieving their full potential and ensuring they are equipped for the next stage of their learning, and life beyond Chapel Green.
Chapel Green School is a purpose built complex-needs school in the village of Old Buckenham. We accept pupils ranging from age 3 – 19 with a diverse range of special educational needs. Our 160 spaces are filled with pupils from South Norfolk and beyond.
Our enthusiastic and creative staff use their range of skills and talents to set high expectations for our pupils creating bespoke learning packages to meet pupil’s needs. Our new curriculum is broad and balanced and provides opportunities for our pupils to make good progress from their starting points.
Our EYFS department focuses on settling pupils into school and supporting them to be ‘ready to learn’ as they move into the lower school to experience and learn through a primary based curriculum. Our middle school provides the vital link between the primary and secondary curriculums providing opportunities for pupils to experience a range of accreditation areas and life skills as they begin to focus on their lives beyond Chapel Green. Our upper school pupils specialise in their chosen accreditation areas achieving their AIM award qualifications whilst becoming more independent, preparing for adulthood and actively contributing to the local community. A specialist team work with our school leavers and their families to establish the best provision for their future learning after Chapel Green School.
