Forest School Lead - Rachael Cooper

At Chapel Green School we aim to provide all pupils with outdoor opportunities to promote physical, cognitive, linguistic, spiritual, social and emotional learning.

Our aim is to create and develop an understanding of the Forest School ethos amongst all learners to create a feeling of belonging and security.

When this ethos exists pupils are more confident to take educated risks and this will help to promote self-esteem and confidence. Pupils will be encouraged to work with and alongside others providing a positive model for lifelong learning. Pupils will have opportunities to experience learner led play, exploration, den building, seasonal activities and when ready tool use on a 1:1 basis.
